I had GOD in my life
2 protect me from this cold world
I used to walk the walk
and talk the talk
then I stopped
I changed my direction
4 misleading affection payed the cost
looked 4 someone to blame
I kept hearing my name
I had a problem
with priority
what was important to me
was right now
just 4 today
I had to get my own way
I compromised my principles
made something simple difficult
by mixing good with the evil
I hooked up
with some bad people
I walked with HIM all day
then at night I would play
with my future
trying 2 be alright
with people of the night
and still keep
my relationship with GOD
It was hard
I couldn't handle the 2
so I chose to be with you
A big mistake
Spiritually I suffered
I payed the cost
4 being my own boss
I almost loss
my soul
I lost self-control
and I lost the understanding
I had on right and wrong
but I've grown
I just take it
my bed was hard
because I made it
I take responsibility 4 my actions
and the choices I made
I picked this woman
and I got played
now I work
twice as hard
2 get back to that point
called start
all these tears that I cry
and the look in Your eyez
Motivate
me to correct my mistake
and change my fate
2 GOD's will
and let HIM lead
all HIS words I now try 2understand
I can't walk with HIM
and run the street
now I got proof
now I know the truth

Wow. Look at them,
They penetrate each and every single feeling i have for you.
Just by staring into them
i know you more and more
i can understand what you feel.
they give off a light of their own,
just like the stars in the sky.
And i love it,
because looking into your eyes gives me that feeling that I'm not alone,
Seeing your love for me within you...
makes me feel that much more fortunate.
But when i see the pain you have,
It makes me want to die.
I'd do anything to erase those feelings,

Those tears,
That have caused you this pain.

For quite some time
I didn't understand living
